Hello Curious !
This is our wall climbing robot "ASCENDER". This robot is capable of climbing vertical magnetic walls. We built this for IIt-Bombay techfest. Here we have used front magnetic wheels to hold grip, differential drive system to steer and wired remote (the robot is capable of climbing wireless with batteries).We participated in TECHFEST 09 Bombay and were among best first 8 teams in India.The race was on knock-out basis.The competition arena is shown below.So try building your own.
